Long time No post.

So it has been far too long since I have posted on here. So I feel, its time to change that. I promise to be a better blogger!
So spring show season came and went, Vince was great this past spring, He competed at Holly Hill in the JYOP and finished 5th with a great run. Meg was very happy with his cross country run. Vince then went onto Greenwood and ran OP, with a stellar dressage test to stand 6th after dressage I was super happy with him, but then something was not right on XC so I withdrew him at the water on XC. Vince then went on to Colorado and ran OT since I was over seas for the summer and had a great test, so I thought and everyone else thought so too, but the judge thought he is was in too much of an upper level frame for the level. He then started out great on XC we were fast on the clock, and then all of a sudden he shut down at the water. He finished the course with only .8 time faults. We knew something was not right, sure enough, he RF suspensory had flared up again, and I withdrew him from the rest of the competition. Vince is now fully retired. He deserves it, he owes me NOTHING. He has been a wonderful partner to be for the last 6 years.
O'Malley has had an interesting year. Holly Hill he went out in the JYOP, was in 3rd after dressage, he is such a looker on the flat. Then on XC he took over and I didn't have any breaks. After jumping through the water, I went ahead and retired on course, better to be safe than sorry and walked home. He went onto Greenwood and ran in the OT there and had a much better run in a new bit, he is now in a Mikmar for XC and he is doing much better in it. He went up to Colorado with Vince, and ran OT as well. He finished 7th and I was very happy with his run. After Colorado, I took him to Briar Fox, and he ran OT there, he won the event from start to finish :-) I was so proud of my pony.
There has been a new addition to the event team. His show name is Lanslide Lerblance aka Harry, he is an 8 year old OTTB and he is wonderful.
Well, until next time, school is back in session. So its off to Chemistry class, and the Judging team.
